Kyle Kuzma NBA News & Injury Updates

Kuzma is joining a number of Milwaukee regulars on the sidelines for this exhibition. Friday's matchup with the Pacers is his next chance to play.

Kuzma was back in the starting lineup Sunday, ending with arguably his best performance of the preseason. For better or worse, it appears as though Kuzma could be a starting option for the Bucks come opening night. Having lost Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis during the offseason, Milwaukee will be hoping Kuzma can rediscover his form from a couple of seasons ago. For those in fantasy, he profiles as nothing more than a last-round flyer, based largely on the fact that he could play close to 30 minutes per game.

The veteran forward is one of the few proven scorers remaining on the roster following the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade and could help ease the transition for rookies Brayden Burries and Nate Ament if he stays with the team. However, his expiring contract could make him an appealing target for contenders before the trade deadline.

Kuzma will hit the sidelines for Milwaukee's regular-season finale, which will open up minutes for Ousmane Dieng. Kuzma will end his 2025-26 campaign with averages of 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 triples per contest.
