Showdown (single-game) slates use one NBA matchup and split every player into two roster slots: Captain/MVP (1.5x points and 1.5x salary) and FLEX/UTIL. Ownership is tracked separately for each slot, so a player can be a crowded Captain pick while his FLEX ownership stays low, or the reverse.
