Frequently Asked Questions

What is MLB DFS?
MLB DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) lets you draft a lineup of real baseball players within a salary cap on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel. You earn fantasy points based on their real-game stats — hits, home runs, RBIs, stolen bases for hitters and strikeouts, wins, and quality starts for pitchers. Contests pay out cash prizes to top-scoring lineups each day.
How do MLB player props work?
MLB player props are bets on individual player performance in a single game — for example, whether a pitcher records over or under 5.5 strikeouts, or whether a batter hits a home run. Sportsbooks set a line and you bet the over or under. Props are available for strikeouts, hits, total bases, home runs, RBIs, and other stat categories.
What is CSW in baseball?
CSW stands for Called Strike plus Whiff rate — the percentage of a pitcher's pitches that result in either a called strike or a swinging strike (whiff). It is one of the best single-stat predictors of pitcher strikeout ability. A CSW above 30% is considered elite; league average is around 27-28%.
