MLB Total Bases Props Today

Our total bases props page shows live sportsbook lines and odds from DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Caesars. Total bases count singles (1), doubles (2), triples (3), and home runs (4) — higher-power hitters tend to exceed their lines more frequently.

Understanding Total Bases Lines

0.5

Low Line

(At least 1 total base)

1.5

Standard Line

(Extra-base hit or 2 singles)

2.5+

Power Line

(Multi-hit or XBH game)

The line represents the sportsbook's expected total bases. A single counts as 1, a double as 2, a triple as 3, and a home run as 4. Walks, HBPs, and sac flies do not count toward total bases. ISO (isolated power) is the key stat — it measures extra-base hit ability per at-bat.

ISO & SLG for Total Bases

ISO (Isolated Power) measures raw extra-base hit ability. Hitters with .200+ ISO are strong total bases candidates, especially on the 1.5 line. Pair ISO with SLG (slugging percentage) and the opposing pitcher's hard-hit rate allowed to identify the best total bases bets.

When to Bet Total Bases Props

Wait for lineup confirmation — batting order position determines plate appearances, which directly affects total base opportunities. Target hitters in hitter-friendly parks facing pitchers with high SLG allowed. Compare lines across sportsbooks to find the best number.
