Ryan Anderson | Draftkings Daily NBA Wednesday 1/11/17

Yesterday was a lot of fun as late news came in for multiple players around the NBA, opening up a ton of value.  We’ll be looking to keep an eye on those injuries again tonight as players like Zach Lavine and Eric Gordon are questionable.  Assuming that Eric Gordon is out again, Ryan Anderson looks like a terrific value play at just $5000 for our Draftkings daily NBA cash lineups Wednesday 1/11/17.

Power Forward

Ryan Anderson – Houston Rockets ($5000) at Timberwolves

Last night Eric Gordon missed his first game of the season.  I was extremely interested in seeing who would pick up those minutes, as beat writers rumored guys like Tyler Ennis and KJ McDaniels would see an uptick.  Both Ennis and McDaniels were DNP-CD last night, as the Rockets opted to go with a tight 8 man rotation!  Checking the box score you may not be thrilled with Ryan Anderson ‘s numbers as he played 35 minutes, but dropped in just 13 points with 3 rebounds.  Surprisingly, he has played MUCH better on the road this season, averaging 27.3 FPPG on the road and just 21.1 FPPG at home this year.  In 35 minutes against the T’Wolves earlier this season, Ryan Anderson dropped 29 points and 6 rebounds, good for 46 fantasy points! At just $5000 he is worth the investment as long as Eric Gordon remains out, and I expect Ryan Anderson to be the centerpiece of my lineup on this 6 game slate.

Other Options: Kristaps Porzingis, Nemanja Bjelica (if Lavine out), Kevin Love

Point Guard

[drizzle]

John Wall – Washington Wizards ($9200) at Celtics

John Wall’s price tag mysteriously fell $700, even though he posted a monster 26 point, 14 assist and 6 rebound line yesterday against the Bulls.  Tonight Wall and the Wizards head into Boston to take on the shorthanded Celtics who will be without Avery Bradley.  Wall consistently sees 38 minutes per game, and is averaging 46 FPPG on the road this season.  Boston ranks right in the middle of the league on the season against PGs, but they have been weaker over their past 10 games allowing nearly 10% more than the league average to opposing point guards.  Expect Wall to drop in at least 45 fantasy points again tonight, with the upside for 60 or more against IT2 and the Celtics.

Other Options: TJ McConnell, Mike Conley, DJ Augustin (if Peyton is out), Ricky Rubio, Russell Westbrook, Damian Lillard, Derrick Rose (I know…)

Shooting Guard

Gerald Green – Boston Celtics ($3000) vs Wizards

There are a number of solid SG options tonight including James Harden in Minnesota, but I really wanted to draw everyone’s attention to Gerald Green.  Since Avery Bradley went down to injury Green has stepped up playing 16 and then 24 minutes.  While it is a bit of a risky play, Green is averaging over a fantasy point per minute at home this season (13 PPG in 11 MPG).  If you’re looking for a punt, Green is risky but has the upside to get you 21+ fantasy points this evening.

Other Options: James Harden, Evan Turner, Jamal Crawford, Marcus Smart, Bradley Beal, JJ Redick

Small Forward

Lebron James – Cleveland Cavaliers ($9700) at Trailblazers

Draftkings needs to stop the shenanigans! Lebron James AVERAGES 51.9 FPPG at home and 52.6 FPPG on the road.  Anytime they drop his price under $10000 Lebron is a must start.  Oh, in his only matchup against the Blazers this year Lebron dropped a triple double en route to 73 fantasy points! I don’t know why DK dropped his price tag, but he is a must.  Lock in Bron.

Other Options: Trevor Ariza, Nemanja Bjelica, Andrew Wiggins, Robert Covington

Center

Marc Gasol – Memphis Grizzles ($6800) at Thunder

Here we have another underpriced player.  Marc Gasol is averaging 37.4 FPPG at home.  In his only matchup with the Thunder, Gasol dropped 49 fantasy points.  Draftkings is basically forcing us to play both him and Lebron tonight based on their prices.  Lock him in at center.

Other Options: Marcin Gortat, Bismack Biyombo (if Serge is out), Joel Embiid
