Another weekend down and another successful one it was cashing both days. We saw a ton of green screens in our discord chat over the weekend and look to keep it rolling this week. Last week was a crazy week as I wasn’t able to get my article out much due to my son being in the hospital, but thankfully he is back home now and doing really well. I will make it up to everyone by giving a little extra content in each Round the Bases this week. It is very important to check into our FTA Discord Chat each night as some of my plays here might change as lineups start coming out. Check out our new A.C.E. Projection System as well to help with building your winning lineups. You can also follow and DM me on twitter @DRockDFS. Want to join us but are not sure if you want to pay a monthly sub fee yet? Patrick Corbin, WAS ($10,900)
Corbin and the Nationals head up to New York to take on the Mets tonight after Corbin just destroyed them last week going eight innings, allowing one earned run with 11 strikeouts. The Mets this season against LHP have the third worst K Rate in baseball at 29%. Alonso, Cano and Rosario all have a K Rate over 32% against LHP. Corbin this season has a 29% K Rate with a 3.56 xFIP and a 3.52 SIERA. Washington got back Trea Turner over the weekend which only helps this Washington offense get Corbin the win as they face a spot starter Drew Gagnon. Yes Corbin is the top priced pitcher on the slate but it is well deserved with the matchup and he is getting a park upgrade to help even more.
Arizona will head to San Diego and take on the right handed heavy Padres tonight. RHP Luke Weaver ($8500) comes into the game giving up a .298 wOBA with a 28% K Rate and will get a big park upgrade tonight against a Padres team that has a league worse K Rate of 27.9% against RHP. Another option at SP2 tonight is RHP Brad Peacock ($8900) who has an IRTA of 4.5 runs against the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox have a 25.7% K Rate and a .166 ISO against RHP this year. Peacock in 2019 has a 23% K Rate and a career 3.95 SIERA. Houston is a heavy favorite tonight which makes getting the win bonus much more reachable.
DJ LeMahieu, NYY (2B/3B, $4200)
The Yankees get RHP Andrew Cashner and the Baltimore Orioles tonight in Camden Yards. New York comes into the game with a sub 6 IRT and should feast on what is known as Trashner. DJ LeMahieu should hit second tonight and over his last 30 AB’s against RHP has a .350 wOBA with a 37% HH Rate. He isn’t the speed machine we once seen but he still has the ability to swipe a bag which helps his cause even more tonight and this year Cashner has been getting pounded by RHB. Cashner has given up a .361 wOBA, 2.67 HR/9, 4.58 xFIP and has a HH Rate of 48% against RHB. The Yankees will see plenty of ownership tonight and I will be one adding to that.
Trea Turner, WAS (SS, $4600)
$4600 seems like a fair price for Trea Turner tonight against RHP Drew Gagnon, who is being reported as making a spot start for the Mets tonight. Turner gets a park downgrade but it is suppose to be warm with the wind blowing out which will help even that out a little. Last year in AAA Gagnon had a 3.6 xFIP while giving up 1.3 HR/9 and Zip has him projected for a 4.7 xFIP and 1.4 HR/9 in the majors this year. It is a very small sample size but in seven games this year Turner has a .222 ISO with a 46% HH Rate and in 2018 he already has five steals in those seven games and 94 SB dating back to 2017.

Bryce Harper, PHI (OF, $4000)
Harper and the Phillies head to the Wind City tonight to take on the Cubs and RHP Y. Darvish. DK got crazy and priced the Phillies like they were facing Verlander tonight. This is a tricky spot and not because I am a Cub fan but because I actually like Darvish tonight. Yes his numbers this year are great but he has been steadily improving with each start and racked up 11 strike outs with zero walks in his last start against the Reds. Darvish has a .360 wOBA, 4.8 xFIP, and a 20% BB Rate to LHB in 2019 to go along with a 4.86 SIERA. Harper on the other hand hand has a .321 wOBA, .232 ISO and a 46.6% HH Rate against RHP over his last 30 AB’s. Harper also comes into tonight with a 32% K Rate to RHP in 2019. At this price he will be very chalky in cash which forces you to play him tonight but he would be a gpp fade for me tonight.
Aaron Hicks, NYY (OF, $4200)
Aaron Hicks most likely will be leading off for the Yankees tonight against Cashner. Dating back to last season Hicks has a .364 wOBA, 130 WRC+ and a 37% HH Rate against RHP from the left side. He brings power and stolen base upside to your lineup tonight. Cashner has been better against LHB this year with a .241 wOBA, slightly worse 4.6 xFIP but also has a higher BB Rate of 11% which bodes well for Hicks. Lead off walk followed by a stolen base and you are already sitting at seven fantasy points 5 minutes into the game. Hicks will be a core play for me tonight and I encourage you to do the same.
