This article intends to go over my approach for this slate. My plays will be posted on discord only.
Injuries and late scratches before the All-Star break are normal around this time of year. It seems like everyone is out with a sore knee or resting. Tonight, we find ourselves dealing with Cousins and Livingston resting this evening. Damian Jones(if you remember him) tore his pectoral and klay(whole starting) sprained his left finger. We can expect Looney to be a popular option tonight as he has been low key averging 21.9 DK points per game just under 25 minutes. He might be the highest owned player on the night slate but I want you guys to consider fading him here. While he has a higher floor tonight, he lacks the ceiling we are looking for to take down a GPP.
Someone that should not be ignored:
- Jusuf Nurkic.
Starting Centers have been destroying GS all year and Nurkic has posted 47.5 and 47 DK points respectively his last two meetings. I want to let you guys in on a secret… he’s only $7400 dollars. The DISRESPECT! Fire him up with confidence today.
2. Klay is the other giant today that we want to consider on the late slate and I love him today even with a bum finger(should lower his ownership) he’s 6500 dollars and has hit the blazers for an AVG of 41.93 fantasy points in his first 3 games against Portland. He’s a sneaky option as people will prefer to pay up for the other studs on this slate.
Do I really have to discuss the next game for you guys to roster players here !?!
This PHX/LAC has a whopping 232 total.
My favorite sneaky guy here is Danilo Gallinari. We all rushed to roster him as soon as Harris left town but I’m still waiting my return on my investment. My biggest worry is that he only played 29 and 26 minutes over his last two but something tells me he hits over 30 today. SF position sucks tonight. I think this is the perfect opportunity to fire him up against a bad team. Let’s just hope he exceeds over 10 shot attempts. I can’t imagine that continues.
Other plays I like from this game are Oubre, Booker, JaMychal Green, and Ayton.
Ayton is particularly interesting today. While people may be hesistant to roster him, his numbers have still been partially well over this past week. He’s avg over 32 minutes a game w/ a 24.5% usg rate and 1.09 fantasy points per min.
Clippers against centers this year:
Allowing 2nd most points
Third most rebounds
Third most assists
Third most steals
Fourth most blocks
And 3rd most FT attempts. Ayton should eat Zubac alive and I’ll be here to witness all of it.
Night lineup and updated will be posted in chat.Random FTA articles
