Your Adams/Rodgers stack swayed me. They'll win you weeks.

Lol - yeah, for sure. I don't watch enough college ball to put a lot of stock in rookies, so you would never see me draft that many rookies early on. Respect the risk-taking though.

Cool idea @Risen Maul! 1. Who are your top 3 teams? I like @konahopper, @soulcougher73, and of course, my own team, the best. Soul may need a bit more depth at RB, but it's still pretty early. And I love Kona's Cooks pick at the back-end of the 3rd. He probably could have went with more depth at RB/WR instead of Olsen though. 2. Who are your bottom 3 teams? @abdishakur's team scares me. Can stay healthy? Will the Mahomes look Kelce's way with so many weapons? Is Miller good enough to be your #1RB? Too many questions for me, personally. @Risen Maul's team - led by 2 rookie RBs. spooky. my own team - don't usually draft QB/TE this early. Both guys are injury concerns, so I'll need depth at those positions. Depth that I usually reserve for RB/WR lottery tickets. 3. Looking back, any picks you wish you could undo? Debated passing on D. Thomas and grabbing Sanders later, but I'm cool with what I have. 4. Biggest Reach? Agree with the others - Wentz was an early pick. 5. Biggest value pick? Garcon could really pop off with Jimmy G at QB!

8.6 Jordan Reed At this point in the draft, I look for talent and upside. Reed has consistently shown to have the talent to be a top 3 TE, but the issue has always been his ability to stay on the field. I'll take my chances in the 8th round - especially this year with Alex Smith throwing in DC this year. Smith seems to enjoy throwing to his TEs, so if, and that's a huge IF, Reed can stay healthy, he is in for a big year. My team would have been killer 3-4 years ago... @soulcougher73 your turn @captain_qwark_ get ready

7.09 Andrew Luck I usually don't draft a QB until late in the draft (11th round plus), but I'm not excited about anyone else at this spot. And when Luck plays, he is pretty much a lock for a top 5 QB finish. As the 8th QB off the board, I feel pretty comfortable taking him at this spot. Here's a couple stats courtesy of ESPN: "In 2014, Luck played in all 16 games and passed for 4,761 yards, 40 touchdowns and 16 interceptions (297.6 yards, 2.5 touchdowns, 1.0 interception per game). He also ran 64 times for 273 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns (4.0 rushes, 17.0 yards, 0.19 touchdowns per game)." "In 2016, Luck played 15 games and passed for 4,240 yards, 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions (282.7 yards, 2.1 touchdowns, 0.9 interceptions per game), while rushing 64 times for 341 yards and two touchdowns (4.0 rushes, 22.7 yards, 0.13 touchdowns per game)." Oh, baby. That's a lot of fantasy points. @Tony Pepperoni up and @mtrain after

I'm assuming the Patriots offense to still be great, even with an older Brady. With that assumption, Burkhead becomes a solid pick for he is predicted to be the main goal line back. Also, Brady is another year older and I would not be surprised if they ran more during the regular season to save his arm for the playoffs.

5.09 Randall Cobb With Jordy out of town, the WR duties fall primarily to Adams and Cobb, and I'll take Rodger's #2 anytime. The last two full seasons with Rodgers, Cobb cracked 120 targets. If he can show Rodgers he is still the reliable #2, Cobb's upside is top 20 WR, which is perfect for my #3 WR. @Tony Pepperoni your turn! @mtrain on deck

4.6 Josh Gordon Because why not? Gordon came back for 5 games and averaged 67 yds/game and 18.6 yards per reception with Kizer at QB. Let me repeat that. With Kizer at QB. Enter Tygod Taylor, who recorded top 15 passer ratings on 20 plus yd throws in back to back years and will definitely feed Flash Gordon. I believe Gordon has top 5 WR upside and top 36 downside. I'm willing to take that risk here. @soulcougher73 your turn @captain_qwark_ get ready

3.9 - Demaryius Thomas 5 straight seasons of 1000+ yards ended last year with a 949 yd season. I believe this was more due to QB play than Thomas' skill. With Case Keenum in town, I expect Thomas to hit the 1000 yd mark again and maintain his minimum of 5 TDs a year. I was hoping for a safe WR1 in the 3rd, and I got him. @Tony Pepperoni you are up @mtrain get ready

2.06 - Jerick McKinnon In Shanahan I Trust. Shanahan actively pursued McKinnon this off-season to the tune of $36 million over 4 years. That's a lot of money for a RB who has never actually put up big numbers. Shanahan clearly is putting a lot of stock in this guy being the main RB threat in SF. McKinnon is a physical beast, earning one of the highest SPARQ ratings ever for a RB and blowing everyone out of the waters at his combine. Shanahan was able to make Freeman, a less physically gifted RB, a star by putting up 1,634 and 1,541 yards from scrimmage and 27 TDs in two seasons. With Jimmy G's quick release and Shanahan's system in place, I believe McKinnon will thrive.
