Daily Fantasy Basketball 3/20/17 | FanDuel DFS NBA

I apologize for not having been present over the weekend, but I had a state competition with my H.S. Jazz Band, and then moved on Sunday (which left very little room for DFS!)  I’m back tonight and we have several fun games to target including another HOU/DEN tilt and a GS/OKC showdown that should mean massive usage for Westbrook.  Let’s see what we can come up with, and if you’re new to FTA make sure to join our premium service which entitles you to our daily NBA projections / live chat with analysts very night.  It’s only $0.50 per day which can’t be beat around the industry!

POINT GUARD

TOP PLAY

Russell Westbrook, OKC ($13,400)

Westbrook has just about reached peak price which doesn’t offer much margin for error, but he’s carrying a 62-point floor against the Warriors on FanDuel this season.  The spread is close at three points and the Warriors rank second in pace.  Westbrook’s massive usage should be on full display tonight, and I refuse to start a cash game without him.

Other options – John Wall, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Kemba Walker (all good options, but don’t come near Westbrook’s ceiling tonight)

Mid-tier options – Elfrid Payton, Dennis Schroder, Jeff Teague

VALUE PLAY

Patrick Beverley, HOU ($4900)

Beverley misses out on a ton of usage playing alongside Harden, but he’s only $4900 and is a safe bet for 30-33 minutes tonight in the best matchup available for point guards.  Denver ranks fifth in pace (Houston is third) and ranks last in defense against PGs and is 29th against PGs while allowing the third most steals per game.  I’m often unwilling to take Beverley’s low floor in cash, but tonight is not one of those nights.

Other options – Derrick Rose, T.J. McConnell, Austin Rivers

SHOOTING GUARD

TOP PLAY

James Harden, HOU ($12,200)

Passing on Harden is tough for me to stomach when he’s facing Denver again (on who he just dropped a massive triple-double), but Westbrook gets my priority and rostering both is near impossible in cash.  Just keep in mind that Denver does rank dead last in points allowed to opposing backcourts along with the third most 3PA.

Other options – Bradley Beal

Mid-tier options – Nicolas Batum, Klay Thompson

VALUE PLAY

Will Barton, DEN ($5800)

Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari are out again which once again vaults Barton to the top of the value list at SG.  Barton actually dudded in a plus matchup against Houston last game, but he’s averaged 33 MPG off the bench with those two out and figures to do so again.  These two teams are both in the top five in pace and this game carries a whopping 237 O/U.  He’s a lock in cash games as his price has dipped $800 from last game.

Other options – Gary Harris, Tim Hardaway, Evan Fournier, J.J. Redick, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
