Week 6 was a tough week for fantasy defenses. Of all the defenses that played this weekend (not including Monday night) only 4 defenses scored double digit points. My goal is to help guide you in selecting the correct defense off the waiver wire. Nobody wants a defense that scores negative points or one that has a low point total. We want the defense that scores us double digits and gives us that edge over our opponent. For week 7 the options for defenses are shaping up to be very beneficial for those of you who stream defenses. The Cincinnati Bengals are facing the Cleveland Browns in week 7. Can a Matchup get any better? I didn’t think so.

Cincinnati Bengals(47%): Cincinnati has the best matchup entering week 7 , being at home against the Cleveland Browns. Cleveland put up some points in week 6 against the Titans, but the Bengals own one of the top defenses in the league. The Titans sacked Cody Kessler 6 times in week 6. Also in Week 6 the Bengals sacked Tom Brady 3 times. With the Bengals bringing pressure and great at stopping the run this could be a tough week for Cody Kessler and the Cleveland Browns offense.
Green Bay Packers(41%): The Packers defense was shredded in week 6 by the Dallas Cowboys. Although before week 6 the Packers defense was shutting opposing teams rushing attack. The Packers defense is 6th in the NFL in total yards and lead the league in forced fumbles with 10 in 6 weeks. With Chicago’s poor rushing attack, and Brian Hoyer still under center it feels like its only a matter of time before the true Brian Hoyer comes to play and that play is horrible.
New York Giants(15%): The Giants are a very interesting defense. They are middle of the pack in almost every defensive category other than turnovers. In 6 weeks the Giants defense has forced 15 turnover(6 interceptions, 9 forced fumbles with 7 recoveries). When looking at a fantasy defense you need a team that forces turnovers, and the Giants can do that against the L.A. Rams. Case Keenum has thrown an interception in 4 of 6 games so far and with the Todd Gurley being contained early in 2016 this could be a turnover filled week for the L.A. Rams.
