Last night was so boring! Hardly any late news came out to affect the picks so I ended up sticking with Lebron who did just enough to make value and I even managed to cash with Kilpatrick in the lineup!. Tonights Draftkings daily NBA cash game picks will be headlined by Al-Farouq Aminu of the Portland Trailblazers. At just $4900 and playing 30+ minutes per game he presents a remarkably safe floor for his price tag.

Aminu headlines Draftkings Daily NBA Cash game plays 1/7/17
Al-Farouq Aminu – Portland Trail Blazers ($4900)
I’m really hoping people take Draftkings DvP ranking seriously and choose to fade Aminu. If you pull up Aminu’s matchup on DK, you’ll see that the Pistons are ranked 7th against PF’s. Looks scary right? Well, actually, since Jon Leuer took over as starter at PF, they have been much worse defensively. In fact, over their last 10 games the Pistons are allowing 14% MORE than the league average in FPPG to PF’s. Yes, that is a significant margin. Aminu has seen 33+ minutes in 3 straight contests, and cleared 30 fantasy points in 2 of those. His one dud was on 1-7 shooting, so as long as he keeps it around 40% we should be just fine at this price point. Aminu has a solid 20 point floor, with a ceiling near 40 making him a terrific value pick at $4900. Lock him in first to your lineups then move on to the rest of the positions.
Other Options: Jon Leuer, Harrison Barnes, Anthony Davis, Lamarcus Aldridge
Jeff Teague – Indiana Pacers ($7700)
I want to lead off by saying I think this is a night you can’t afford to fade Westbrook in cash. The Nuggets are awful defensively against PGs, so make sure you fit him in. Hopefully you have enough cash left over to get Teague into your lineup as well, as he already dropped 48.8 fantasy points in 37 minutes against the Knicks earlier this season. Teague is nearly 5 points better at home (38 FPPG compared to 33 on the road), and he has cleared 40 fantasy points in 7 of his last 10 games.
Other Options: Russell Westbrook, Derrick Rose, Kyle Lowry, Isaiah Thomas, Jrue Holiday
Jeremy Lamb – Charlotte Hornets ($4000)
I’m not sure who will start for Nicolas Batum, but I’m hoping it is Jeremy Lamb. On the road this season in 18 minutes per game, Jeremy Lamb is averaging 19.3 fantasy points! If he creeps up around 28-30 minutes tonight, even against the Spurs, I want a piece. Lamb is actually a very solid rebounder for a SG which helps give him a safer floor than many options around the league. If Belinelli draws the start instead I may go with him, so keep an eye on that late news leading up to tip off.
Other Options: Rodney Hood, Avery Bradley, Victor Oladipo
Evan Turner – Portland Trail Blazers ($4300)
I’m really hoping some late news comes out that opens up a terrific play at SF. As I write up this article there aren’t many enticing options out there, and I think the safest is Evan Turner. Over his last 4 games Turner has played at least 28 minutes in each game. His floor over that span was 17.25 and ceiling 26.75 which basically puts him in the 4x-6x range. While he may not be the most exciting play, Turner is safe which is what we are looking for in our cash game lineups. Start him unless a better play surfaces throughout the day.
Other Options: Demarre Carroll, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Carmelo Anthony, Andrew Wiggins
Myles Turner – Indiana Pacers ($7200)
A very interesting situation is unfolding in Denver as Nikola Jokic is a GTD tonight. If Nurkic draws the start you’ll want to get him in there at $3600. Assuming Jokic does play, Myles Turner is my favorite cash game center of the evening. So far this season, Turner has been almost 7 FPPG better at home (36.4 compared to 29.7 on the road). In his only matchup with the Knicks, Myles dropped 44.3 fantasy points in just 32 minutes! I’ve mentioned it before, but the Knicks are absolutely awful against centers, allowing the 2nd most FPPG this season to the position. I love Myles matchup, situation and price tag, and think he is the way to go at C tonight.
Other Options: Jusuf Nurkic, Mason Plumlee, Al Horford, Rudy Gobert, Dwight Howard, Jonas Valanciunas
That wraps up tonight’s picks for Draftkings Daily NBA cash games. If you have any questions about Aminu or any other player listed I’m always available in chat to discuss with our community. Good luck with your lineups tonight!
