Week 5 News and Notes
Julio Jones- Yea, we’re that high on Julio Jones. Despite his abysmal performance in Week 4, he’s still our #1 Wide Receiver coming into Week 5. No Cornerback in the NFL takes more risks than DeAngelo Hall, and the Wide Receivers who play him typically have big games. Jones has been a bit hit or miss early in the season, but we fully expect him to settle into his breakout season sooner rather than later.
Wes Welker- The Patriots were clearly trying to cheat Welker out of a contract, starting Julian Edelman over him. With both Edelman and Aaron Hernandez injured, you can expect typical Wes Welker numbers. Continue to start Welker with confidence as he’s back to being one of the most consistent players in the game.
Brian Hartline- Have a problem with Hartline being ranked this high? Go out and catch 12 balls for 250+ yards and a touchdown, then we can talk. I expected Tannehill to struggle much more than he has so far, and until proven otherwise Hartline has to be ranked as a starting Wide Receiver.
Percy Harvin- Tennessee isn’t a team that you beat by going over the top, you beat them by throwing short passes and going for YAC(Yards after catch). With Minnesota constantly forcing the ball into Harvin’s hands, you can fully expect a big game out of him in this one by the YAC master.
