Team Defense/ Special Teams week 5 rankings news and notes

Chicago Bears DEF/ST - Da Bears have taken a commanding fantasy lead after a 5 interception, 2 TD performance against Tony Romo and the Cowboys.  All this without a single KR/PR for a TD, which many fantasy owners were probably banking on when the season began.

San Francisco 49ers DEF - Good news for owners that reached for the 49ers in this year’s draft, after averaging fewer than 5 points per week through the first 3 weeks, the 49ers pulled off a shutout against the Jets, and 34 total points likely helping their owners win the week.  The bad news?  They didn’t help the fantasy cause much the first 3 weeks, and will need to continue with the interceptions and sacks in weeks to come.

Pittsburgh Steelers DEF/ST - The Steelers are coming out of their bye week, and get to face a turnover prone Eagles team, can they finally get some solid fantasy points for the 75% of leagues that own them?

Minnesota Vikings/ Tennessee Titans DEF/ST - So far the Vikings and Titans are the only 2 teams in football with 2 return TD’s.  A situation to keep an eye on going forward, especially with the Titans who look like they have a special teams unit that could lead the league in KR/PR TD’s this season.

Oakland Raiders  DEF - Why are they still owned in 4% of leagues?  Through 4 weeks they have 0 fantasy points, is anyone starting these guys?
