Week 4 News and Notes
CJ Spiller- After a brutal looking injury, it appeared as if fantasy football’s #1 running back through two weeks would be out for a while. Even though the Bills have not ruled him out, you can expect him to be inactive for week 5. If Jackson and Spiller are both out, you can expect a decent game from Tashard Choice in the Bills’ Running Back friendly system. If Spiller unexpectedly plays and Jackson doesn’t, you can consider him a high-end RB1 in week 4.
Maurice Jones-Drew- Is it safe to say that MJD is back. MJD had a huge week in week 3, and clearly is not this years’ Chris Johnson(Chris Johnson is). You can start him with confidence as your RB1 and fantasy owners who got him for a second or third round pick can know they got a steal.
Ryan Matthews- Matthews was a bit limited in week 3 due to his light workload. His amount of carries should increase every week, and his production will come with it. With a juicy match up and an increased workload, he’s back to RB1 status for week 4.
Mikel Leshoure- You may think we have Leshoure a bit high as a RB2, but how many Running Backs have as large of a workload as he will receive? Leshoure is the clear #1 pickup in week 4, and can be plugged into your lineup already. Expect another 20 carry game from him, with a very good chance at a touchdown.
