Week 2 Tight Ends news and notes
- Making a suprise ascension into this list is Kevin Boss, early in their week 1 matchup, it was Moeaki getting the looks, but Boss ended up with nearly 10 fantasy points thanks to a late TD, and he cracks the rankings for the first time at 21
- Another pleasant surprise was Heath Miller as he totaled 11 fantasy points against the Denver Broncos in week 1, if he keeps producing like that he may even become a recommended option at TE, so keep an eye on him.
- In the realm of disappointments was Fred Davis, as the Redskins pounded the Saints through the air, Fred Davis wasn’t a very important part as he managed just 3.80 fantasy points. Hopefully it was a one game aberration, and not a sign of things to come.
- I caught a lot of flak from fantasy owners last week saying how can you have 2 NE tight ends in the top 5? Well, they both put up over 12 fantasy points, and caught a TD, thats how. Both Gronk and Hernandez remain in the top 5 heading into week 2.
Ok that is it for this week’s rankings, be sure to head over to the forums where you can find me and our head NFL writer mikesherman always willing to talk fantasy sports.
