This week some lucky winner becomes a Millionaire; thanks to Draftkings.com. If you have not won a chance to partake in this contest, you can buy-in for $1,500.
Let’s get down to business and find some players for our daily fantasy football line-ups on Draftkings.com this week.
Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks ($7,500): This is a great price on the former Wisconsin Badger star. This week Seattle is going have to lean on the passing game since Arizona has a strong run defense. In the first meeting with Arizona this season he threw for 235 yards, three TDs and ran the ball eight times for 29 yards. He is at home against a strong run defense; this has the making of a passing game for him this week.
Tom Brady, New England Patriots ($7,800): We are starting to see the vintage Brady the last six weeks; throwing for more than 300 yards five times with 14 TDs and 4 interceptions. This week he faces the Baltimore Ravens with some redemption on their mind from last season’s playoff defeat. This is a cheap price-tag for a guy playing at a high level now.
Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings ($7,800): If “AP” plays this weekend he needs some consideration at this cheap price. This week he faces the Cincinnati Bengals who are the seventh-best team for fantasy points allowed to opposing RBs, they have allowed the fourth most receptions to opposing RBs this season. You can compare him to Kevin Love for basketball – they are both match-up proof.
Reggie Bush, Detroit Lions ($7,600): It has gotten to the point that the Giants are just going through the motions to finish this season. Over the last five weeks NY has allowed a rushing TD in four of those weeks. This week the former USC Trojan star will be at home where he is averaging 10 more fantasy points than on the road. Detroit is in a must-win situation; look for Bush to have a huge week.
Julian Edelman, New England Patriots ($7,100): In case you haven’t noticed, the former seventh round draft pick has scored 20 or more fantasy points the last four weeks. This week he faces the Baltimore Ravens who sit in the middle of the pack for fantasy points allowed to opposing WRs this season. Look for him to have another huge week with Gronk being out for the season.
Keenan Allen, San Diego Chargers ($6,500): There are a plethora of WRs this week I could have named; I am leaning towards the former California Golden Bear since he has scored 20 or more fantasy points in three of the last four games. This week he faces the Oakland Raiders who allow the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing WRs and the same Oakland team he had 26.5 fantasy points against in week five.
Zach Miller, Seattle Seahawks ($3,600): I find it interesting that the former Arizona State Sun Devil has only two catches the last two games and his price-tag goes up on Draftkings.com. The reason behind the price increase has to do with the match-up against Arizona this week that ranks dead-last for fantasy points allowed to opposing TE’s this season. Even with the small increase, there is still value in him this week.
Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans ($4,900): The former Central Missouri star put those concussion symptoms behind him and had eight receptions for 53 yards and a TD last week. This week he faces the Jacksonville Jaguars who allow the third-most fantasy points to opposing TEs. He looks in line for another strong outing.
Detroit Lions ($3,000): This price-tag is on the low-end for a team that dominates the run game and is facing Eli Manning who is coming off a five-interception week. The Giants have called it quits this season; look for Detroit to push this team around this week.
Cleveland Browns ($3,700): Any team that plays the Jets needs consideration. The Jets rank in the bottom of almost every offensive category and continue to get pushed around by opponent’s defense. This week it is Cleveland’s turn to hand NY another beating.
