Week 1 Quick Links
Quarterback is one of the deepest positions in fantasy football this season, meaning in standard 1 QB formats, everyone should have a pretty solid starter lined up for week 1. If you play in a 2 QB formats, there are certainly a number of question marks outside of the top 12 that bear asking, and for that reason I will be providing rankings for the top 25 QB’s heading into week 1.

Keep in mind, these rankings do not reflect our season long projections. They take into account matchups and injuries.
|Drew Brees||NO||ATL||Game should be a shootout, and Brees is a stud
|Tom Brady||NE||@BUF||Brady should have no problem picking apart the Bills, even with question marks at WR
|Matt Ryan||ATL||@NO||Uptempo offense against one of the league’s worst defenses. Ryan is a must start
|Aaron Rodgers||GB||@SF||Rodgers draws a tough matchup against the 49ers, which is the only reason he isn’t top 2 this week
|Peyton Manning||DEN||BAL||Peyton will be looking for redemption against the visiting Ravens, solid matchup with Ed Reed out of BAL
|Cam Newton||CAR||SEA||Normally the rushing TD’s help him get ranked higher, but the Seahawks will likely force Cam to take to the air
|Matthew Stafford||DET||MIN||They throw more passes than anyone in the NFL. Hopefully Stafford can start finding the end zone more regularly
|Colin Kaepernick||SF||GB||Kaep will be looking to run wild over the Packers. Currently an undervalued fantasy asset, he could find himself in the top 5 QB’s in no time if the rushing TD’s continue to mount
|Andrew Luck||IND||OAK||Many experts pick Luck to lead the league in passing after week 1. No surprise as he faces a woeful Raiders secondary. Only real question here, will the Colts still have to throw in the 4th quarter, or will they be running out the clock?
|Robert Griffin III||WAS||PHI||Certainly a gamble with all sorts of wild rumors flying about his knee. RG3 is a top 5 fantasy QB when fully healthy, but we can’t be too sure about his health until he takes the field in week 1
|Russell Wilson||SEA||@CAR||Some have him higher, but the Seahawks run as much as any team in the NFL, and question marks abound at WR. Borderline start in 10 team formats depending on your other option
|Tony Romo||DAL||NYG||Everyone knows the story here, sometimes good, sometimes bad. You just have to guess which Romo shows up come week 1.
