The (mostly) confirmed 2 start pitchers for week 11

Another week gone by, and more rainouts and doubleheaders have affected the projected 2 start pitchers for the week ahead.  Lets take a look at who the confirmed two start pitchers are for week 11, and don’t forget to read the news and notes at the bottom of the article.

Many times, the 3 primary sources I used didn’t agree on which pitcher would be starting on a given day (MLB, Yahoo, CBS) so I did some research, and came up with which site I believed was correct.  Long story short, the rotations could be crazy this week thanks to the rain in week 10.

    News and notes

    Projected (unconfirmed) two start pitchers

Gerrit Cole, Chien Ming-Wang, Tony Cingrani, Corey Kluber, Jeremy Hefner and Michael Wacha are all projected 2 start pitchers for the scoring period ahead, but their teams haven’t officially confirmed as of the release of this article.  They are all expected to start early in the week for their respective teams, but only time will tell whether or not that actually occurs.

    Julio Teheran

Don’t sleep on Teheran, he has slowly been climbing the ranks, and with a 4-2 record and 3.29 ERA, it looks like he may be finally fulfilling all the promise we saw in spring training.
