Week 1 - Santana Moss will open up the 2012 season vs the New Orleans Saints. While some fantasy owners will see this as a favorable matchup, Robert Griffin hasn’t proven himself yet, and Moss should be reserved except in the deepest of formats for week 1.
Preseason Analysis
Santana Moss figures to be the veteran presence on the Redskins roster that pushes the young WR to perform better. While Moss could have some potential in fantasy drafts this year, it remains to be seen how the Redskins use RG3, and if Griffin rushes the ball 10+ times a game that will take targets away from Moss. Don’t reach for Moss at this year’s draft as he should only be viewed as a late round backup option in 2012.
