Week 4- RG3 is no fluke, and Garcon is his top guy. If Garcon plays, he’s a WR2 with WR1 upside in week 4. Try to keep him in your fantasy lineups based on pure potential.
Week 3- It sounds like Pierre Garcon will not play as he is listed as questionable for week 3. Get him out of your fantasy lineups.
Week 1 – While we are a bit leery of rookie QB Robert Griffin III, and what his first NFL season will accomplish, this first week matchup should work out pretty well for the new QB and his #1 receiver Garcon. The Redskins get the Saints in week 1, and Garcon is a low WR2 thanks to the weak pass defense of the Saints. Start him with confidence in the majority of formats, as he should put up solid numbers across the board.
Preseason Analysis
Pierre Garcon, now of the Washington Redskins is expected to become the top wide receiver for the Redskins in 2012. He was specifically selected by his coaches as the best WR on the market in the offseason, which means they have big plans on how to incorporate him into the offense. The only thing that remains to be seen is whether he and Robert Griffin make the connection that takes Garcon to the next level. Draft him as a #3 WR with big time upside for your fantasy team in 2012.
