Week 1 – Moore’s week 1 matchup isn’t the best, as he faces a Washington Redskins defense that ranked in the top 10 against the pass a season ago. We recommend looking elsewhere for your starting WR in week 1 as it remains to be seen how the Saints fare after their tumultuous offseason.
Preseason Analysis
Lance Moore enters the 2012 season with the same draft status that he had last year. As a WR4 or backup guy, he can explode any given week, but about the only guy Brees is guaranteed to target in the end zone is Jimmy Graham on a weekly basis. If you need a WR in the late rounds of fantasy drafts, give Moore a look, but don’t expect to land a WR1 with that pick.
