Week 8- A lot of people are jumping off of Bowe’s bandwagon after a couple of bad games, but I’m still firmly implanted in it. Keep him in your lineups as a high upside WR2.
Week 5- The Chiefs face the Ravens Defense this week, which means that they will have to air it out more than usual this week. Still, Ladarius Webb is an extremely underrated CB that could potentially shut him down. He’s a risk/reward WR2 for Week 5.
Week 4- Bowe gets the tough Chargers Defense in week 4, and can’t be counted on doing much in this one. Bowe is a stud or dud guy every week, and I’m betting on this one being a dud. He’s just a WR3 for this week.
Week 3- Dwayne Bowe is another WR who could have a big game in week 3. The Chiefs will likely be behind for the majority of the game, and that’s where Bowe shines. Garbage time. The Saints have looked like the worst defense in the NFL through two weeks and Bowe needs to be in your lineup as a WR2.
Week 1 – Bowe is the #1 target for an average QB in Matt Cassel, and as such probably won’t climb out of the WR2 ranks this season. This is a decent matchup for Bowe as the Falcons bring their new no-huddle offense into their week 1 matchup, and the game figures to see quite a bit of scoring.
Preseason Analysis
Many experts expect the Kansas City Chiefs to contend in the West this season, and a big part of that falls on Dwayne Bowe the teams #1 WR. He has totaled 1,100+ yards receiving each of the past two seasons, and comes in as a #2 WR on our draft board for 2012. Pick him up in the 5th or 6th rounds of fantasy football drafts this season.
