Brandon Lloyd

Week 5- Lloyd will likely have some stud games and some dud ones. This should be a stud one as the Broncos and Patriots should be involved in a shootout. He’s a WR2 for Week 5, but a risky one.

Week 4- Surprisingly, Lloyd has been more of a consistent target for Tom Brady rather than a deep threat. If that continues, expect him to have a big game against the weak Bills secondary. Keep him in your lineup as your WR2.

Week 3- Tom Brady has had trouble in the past with the tough Ravens Defense, and this week may be no different. Lloyd did look to be his go to target but Brady probably won’t have Brady-like numbers in this one, leaving Lloyd as just a high-end WR3 in week 3.

Week 1 – Expectations are high for Lloyd in 2012, especially from his fantasy owners.  Week 1 sees the Patriots playing the Titans, and with Tom Brady and the pass heavy offense of the Patriots, we have Lloyd as a solid WR2 that should be started in all formats.

Preseason Analysis

Brandon Lloyd is the newest acquisition by the Patriots, and is expected to be another big play receiver for Tom Brady to target. The question is will Lloyd be a Randy Moss or an Ochocinco for Brady? We think somewhere in the middle, and project Brandon as a low #2 or solid #3 WR in most formats for 2012.
