Week 3- Alshon Jeffery now has one good game and one bad game for the Bears. Jay Cutler has proven to be an extremely inconsistent Quarterback and Jeffery’s value will likely depend on his performance. Until he strings a few good games together, keep Jeffery on your bench.
Week 1 - One of our favorite sleeper picks for 2012 gets a terrific matchup against a weak Colts secondary in week 1, and we are recommending Alshon Jeffery as a WR3 for the first week of fantasy football 2012. This week will go a long way towards deciding whether Jeffery is sleeper gold, or just another late round bust this season.
Preseason Analysis
Most owners find their way to this page in the hunt for sleepers at WR for 2012. If you are looking for this year’s Victor Cruz, we would like to introduce you to Alshon Jeffery, rookie wide receiver out of South Carolina. Jeffery has done nothing but impress in his preseason games, and is poised to be the #2 WR behind only Brandon Marshall in the Bears’ attack for 2012. While Marshall will undoubtedly lead the team in targets, Jeffery could see his share of receptions, and we have him going for nearly 800 receiving yards in his rookie year. If he continues to play in season like he has in the preseason, Alshon will blow those projections out of the water. He is worth a late-round flier in most formats this season.
