Week 6- Joe Haden shadowing him all game could shut him down, but based on Green’s performance he needs o stay as your WR1.
Week 5- AJ Green has established himself as an elite WR. Against the Dolphins, the Bengals should be throwing the ball a lot in this week. AJ Green is the only reliable guy catching balls from Andy Dalton, and should be plugged into all lineups as a WR1.
Week 4- The Jaguars have a pretty tough Run Defense, so you can expect the Bengals to pass a ton in this game. When they thrown, who do you think it is to? Yep, AJ Green is the clear #1 target for the Bengals and should have another big game.
Week 3- With all the targets that AJ Green should be getting, he should remain a WR1 heading into week 3. He has scored a TD in each of his first two games, and he has a good chance at one in week 3 as well. Start him with confidence, and he should repay you with a solid performance.
Week 1- AJ Green could be in for a very poor game in this one. As Andy Dalton’s only real target, you can expect Green to get almost all of the Ravens’ attention. With how much pressure they will be sending, Green may not have enough time to get open against double or triple coverage. With all of this going against him, Green falls from a solid WR1 to a high-end WR2.
One year after going over 1,000 yards as a rookie, we expect Green to make the leap to a #1 WR in all fantasy formats for 2012. We project Green as a top 5 wideout in 2012, and if you want to land the big play WR of the Bengals, you will have to pick him up in the late 2nd or early 3rd round in most fantasy formats.
