Week 9 - Heath continues to impress as he caught 4 passes for 46 yards and a TD in week 8. He has emerged as a recommended TE1 in all formats going forward.
Week 6 - Miller draws a terrific matchup with the Titans in week 6, and we are projecting big numbers for the Steelers big TE. If you grabbed Miller off waivers and have a borderline matchup with your other TE, this would be the week to plug in Heath.
Week 2 -Miller didn’t even crack our top 20 TE’s for week 1, and to retaliate he went ahead and caught 4 balls for 50 yards with a TD (11 pts standard). We understand it is quite the disgrace to be left off the illustrious fantasy team advice weekly rankings, and will be sure to include Miller for the next few weeks, at least. The interesting thing about Miller is that he has played with the Steelers going on 8 years, and he usually comes in under 50 targets on the season (except for 09 as outlined in the preseason analysis). It is unlikely Miller will become a must start option, but at this point he looks like a reliable TE2 for bye weeks as a guy who will be out on the gridiron every week.
Preseason Analysis
Miller has been with the Steelers since 2005, and his best year was 2009 when he caught 76 balls for 789 yards. Although he consistently averages over 10 yards per catch, he is rarely targeted over 50 times in a season, and fantasy owners should consider him to be at best a backup TE in all fantasy formats.
