Shane Vereen was mostly used in late game situations in wildcat looks in 2011. Heading into 2012, it looks like he is in for an increased workload for the Patriots. We still expect Stevan Ridley to take the #1 job for the Pats in 2012, with Vereen being the change of pace and passing down back. Draft him in most formats as a late round backup RB that could be a decent spot starter against weak pass defenses.
