Week 6- Brown could have a solid game against a Jets Defense that has been run all over through five weeks, but he’s still Donald Brown. He’s no more than a Flex option this week.
Week 5- Don’t expect much out of Brown in Week 5, as he faces the Green Bay Packers. The Packers should be up all game long and keep the Colts throwing. That goes without mentioning that he typically isn’t very productive in the carries he gets. He’s just a Flex option for Week 5.
Week 3- Brown should get no shortage of carries against the Jaguars as it should be a very competetive game. The problem is, he’s not a very good player. Through the first couple of weeks in the season, Brown has looked like a bad player getting a lot of carries. Like most weeks, he’s just a Flex option in week 3.
Week 1- Us ranking Donald Brown as a low-end RB2 for week 1 just shows how weak RB is this season. Just being a starting Running Back makes you very valuable in fantasy, and Brown is one of the biggest fantasy beneficiaries. Going against one of the most consistently great defenses in the league(Chicago) won’t help him. If your starting Donald Brown in week 1, I wouldn’t feel too good about it.
Fantasyteamadvice considers Donald Brown to be one of the best fantasy sleeper running backs of 2012. He will get the lion’s share of carries in Indianapolis, and could be in line for a breakout season. There will be plenty of value in picking him as he is typically falling to the fourth or fifth round, and could easily outperform his draft spot. We recommend Brown as a #2 RB with the upside to become a must start option this year, and if you are scrambling to find running backs between rounds 4-6 be sure to pick up Brown.
