Week 8- Expect Bradshaw’s workload to be much less massive this week after proving he can’t handle it and David Wilson and Andre Brown both now fully healthy. He’s just a RB2 for Week 8.
Week 6- He just ran for 200 yards, so he has to be my top RB for this week, right? Actually no, he gets the 49ers Defense that shuts down top RBs for a living. Try to keep him on your bench or as just a Flex option in this one.
Week 5- Bradshaw gets the Browns Defense this week, which is very poor against the run. Still, Bradshaw isn’t overly talented and should split carries with Andre Brown. He’s a low-end RB2 for this week without much upside.
Week 4- Coming off injury, splitting carries, and a tough matchup for Bradshaw this week. He’s just a Flex play in week 4.
Week 1- With a nice matchup, expect Bradshaw to put up solid RB2 in week 1. David Wilson will likely start eating into his carries later in the year, but for now expect him to be the featured back on an explosive offense. Start Bradshaw with confidence Week 1, and with a nice matchup against Dallas he should reward your investment.
Bradshaw underwent surgery to repair his feet and has been using stem cells to help in the treatment during the offseason. While he says his feet are fine, and expects to be ready to go for 2012, it remains to be seen how those feet hold up in real-game situations. There is a lot of injury risk here which is why we have dropped Bradshaw to a #3 RB for 2012, and it would be a huge achievement if he actually appears in all 16 games for the Giants. Target Ahmad no earlier than the 6th round in most fantasy drafts.
