Jets

Week 4 - The Jets have actually allowed an average of 25 points per week thus far in the NFL season, so its a good thing that points allowed doesnt matter as much in fantasy as it does in the actual league.  The Jets have turned in 2 defensive TD’s, and 1 special teams TD so far in 2012, which is why the Jets have so many fantasy points.  Week 4 should see more of a defensive struggle between the Jets and 49ers, which certainly has the opportunity to be low scoring.  Alex Smith doesn’t figure to throw an interception as he has just 1 on the year, so if there is a chance for a defensive TD, it will be by fumble where the 49ers are currently averaging 1 per game.

Week 2 – The Jets come out of week 1 tied with Cleveland as the #1 overall scoring fantasy defense, as they managed 19 fantasy points (standard scoring) against the Bills a week ago. Heading into a nice matchup with Pittsburgh which should be a low scoring affair, the Jets will try to improve on the 3 picks they recorded a week ago.
