Week 4 - The Eagles were supposed to have one of the better defenses in football this season, but they have not yet recorded a pick 6 or kick return, so their fantasy points scored leaves much to be desired as they are currently averaging just 7.5 fantasy points per week. For week 4, the Eagles will hope to catch Eli on the downswing from 2 big starts in a row. Eli has been known to run hot and cold, so there is a chance this game leads to Philly’s first pick 6, and in 12 team formats they come as a low ranked defensive start for week 4.
Week 2 – Facing Brandon Weeden in week 1 worked out for the Eagles as they intercepted the Browns QB 4 times on their way to a 14 point fantasy effort on the defensive side of the ball. Week 2 should be an interesting matchup, as the Eagles face Joe Flacco and the sometimes hurry up offense. If they can fluster Flacco there is a chance at some INT’s, and the Eagles are a borderline play for week 2 as the hurry up offense may put them on their heels at times.
