Nene is a player that is being selected in the 6th round of current fantasy basketball drafts, but there is one key piece of info fantasy owners seem to be missing. Nene has dealt with plantar fascitis all offseason, and if this develops into a serious problem, he could miss a large amount of time this season. Between the Nuggets and Wizards a season ago he appeared in just 39 games while averaging 13.7 PPG, 7.5 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.1 SPG, and 1.0 BPG. We don’t recommend Nene until the 9th round because of the injury concerns, there are other healthier options available in the 6th round that warrant your attention.
