UPDATE – September 28th, 2012 – Projected 2nd round draft pick in 2012 fantasy drafts John Wall is out with a stress injury to his left patella. This will sideline him until late November/ early December, and drops him back in our projections significantly. Owners that do take a chance when drafting Wall will shudder when they remember how the Wizards botched Gilbert Arenas’ injury and hurried him back too soon. John Wall is now a high risk injury pick for the 2012-13 season.
2011 was John Wall’s sophomore season in the NBA, and he impressed across the board with a 16.3 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 8.0 APG, and 1.4 SPG. Now heading into his 3rd season in the NBA you can expect those numbers to improve, and view Wall as a #1 PG in all fantasy basketball formats for 2012 who should be drafted in the mid to late second round.
