Ronnie Brewer will be undergoing surgery at the beginning of the 2012-13 season, so J.R. Smith is expected to have the starting SG job coming out of the preseason. In 35 games for the Knicks in 2011-12 he averaged 12.5 PPG, 3.9 RPG, 2.4 APG, and 1.5 SPG. Once Brewer returns to the lineup, Smith will lose a lot of fantasy value, and as such we only recommend targeting him late in the 11th or 12th rounds of fantasy drafts.
