Our head NBA writer Allen Sabio’s analysis - Yeah, I am feeling good today and yeah I feel like spreading the love to Philly…wait a minute, they already have too much in that city right? The Iggy era is over and the Turner-Bynum era is in here. Doug Collins is big on the former top pick and his moment is now. Heck, I am in a charitable mood and project Turner to be a 14.4 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 3.1 APG, and .8 SPG.
Evan Turner is expected to be the starting SF for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2012-13 but should be eligible as a SG in the majority of fantasy basketball formats. His coach Doug Collins expects Turner to take a big step forward this year, as he averaged 9.4 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 2.8 APG, and .6 SPG a season ago. Our projections are a bit more modest, as we see Turner as a 9th or 10th round pick depending on format.
