Ed Davis

Ed Davis is a guy that many fantasy owners may be regarding as a sleeper entering the 2012-13 season, but there are 3 major obstacles preventing him from having a breakout season.  They are named Andrea Bargnani, Amir Johnson, and Jonas Valanciunas.  Davis is basically blocked from starting at both PF/C by those three guys, and as long as everyone stays healthy, Ed Davis will have a hard time seeing consistent minutes.  In 2011-12, while averaging 23 minutes per game, Davis put up 6.3 PPG, 6.6 RPG, .9 APG, and 1.0 BPG.  He shot a nice FG% of .513 and FT% of .670 that isn’t terrible for a big man, but until there is an injury to one of the Raptors big men he should only be considered an option in 12 team leagues that go 15 rounds on draft day.
