The Minnesota Timberwolves don’t currently have anyone on their roster ahead of Brandon Roy at the SG spot, which is a bit of a surprise considering how risky his health is. Roy retired from the NBA at the peak of his career, due to a degenerative knee condition, but he will be attempting to make a comeback after offseason knee surgery. If Roy returns to his former glory, he will be the steal of the draft, so fantasy owners will want to keep him in their back pocket for the final round in deeper formats. If you play in a shallow league of 10 owners or less, you can safely let him go to waivers, as there is a lot of skepticism that Roy will be able to return to the elite talent he once was, in deeper formats he should be picked up in the 14th round or later.
