Confirmed 2 start pitchers for week 15 – fantasy baseball 2013 streamers, waiver wire starting pitchers, and pitching tiers for the week ahead

There are exactly 50 two start pitchers for the week ahead, which means all owners should be maximizing their starts in head to head formats.  I have verified these starters using 3 of the top resources available on the web today (CBS, MLB and Yahoo).  In some instances the websites didn’t agree on who was receiving the start, so a little research was necessary along the way.  After some study, the confirmed two start pitchers for the week ahead have been compiled and sorted into tiers for your viewing pleasure.

If you are looking to make the best pickup for your squad off the waiver wire, feel free to post your lineup in the forums and join our rapidly expanding fantasy baseball community.

News and notes – 2 start pitchers for week 15

Let us all welcome Homer Bailey into the top tier of SP in baseball.  While many pundits will point to his 5-6 record, I would respond with an ERA in the mid 3′s, and a strikeout per inning.  He is a must start at this point in the season.

There are a number of young pitchers to keep an eye on in Tier 3 this week, including Tyler Chatwood and Martin Perez.  Both pitchers have question marks, but are putting up solid numbers this season

Dan Haren is projected to return from the disabled list on Tuesday.  This should not be a reason for hope, as he was placed on the DL for being really, really bad.

If you have any updates for these pitchers (injuries/rotation changes) please post them in the comments section below and I will update the article for the other readers.

Stults is a tempting play after seeing Cain’s recent collapse, so is Santiago with the K ratio. This is the week I’m going to ride Phelps – the 5.0 ERA seems too high and those should be easy wins for the Yankees at home. Is Jeanmar Gomez starting for the Pirates?

    • mhoffner

Never mind, Phelps is on the DL now.

Updated. Wainwright became a 2 start pitcher, and the Yankees will be Hughes/Sabathia this week
